The visual transmission of the RETROLux blinds - especially in summer - is excellent because the louvers in open position redirect the direct sun back into the sky. The good visual transmission during active sun protection is an essential quality criterion for the RETROLux technology.
On cloudy days the blinds can remain in their open position. Due to the integrated light shelves, an uniform illumination is achieved up to the depth of the room.
RETROLux 50 mm louvers close tight without the usual light pattern. They fulfil strongest demands on glare protection.
For design reasons, the Rathscheck faÁade did not permit external solar shading. The discipline of the material- ity and the clear forms made it necessary to install a highly effective solar shading type RETROLux 50 mm on the inside of the ribbon faÁade.
