The projects of BOB Deficiency Design AG are characterised by an outstanding holistic energy concept. All BOB projects are DGNB Gold certified. A key element of the energy concept is the daylight blinds, which provide active solar shading, light control and depth illumina- tion on the one hand, and transparency on the other.

BOB projects are equipped with RETROLux 50mm louvers. The clients prefer an installation inside with hand crank operation. The crank drive is still considered a very user-friendly option, since the control is with the user. In addition, the construc- tion costs and maintenance costs are reduced.

The floor-to-ceiling blinds are fitted with tension cable guides. The blinds sit in front of the reveal and overlap the wall elements. The blinds form a separate room layer that harmonises the room.
