Concept of Solar Protection
Those parts of the faÁade with fixed glazing are equipped with RETROLuxTherm and serve as sun protection and light redirection system. To protect from lower angles of incidence an additional roller shutter is installed interior. The RETROLux blinds in the parallel vent windows move with the windows.

Thermal comfort
The maximum temperatures of the inner gla- zing has been measured with 32 °C. With triple glazing the maximum temperatures are only 2-4°C above room temperature. The secondary heat transmission is negligible.
