The ìPower Towerî of Energie AG Upper Austria has been constructed with a non-ventilated unitised double-skin faÁade by company GIG . The GIG LEDS faÁade (Low Energy Double Skin) is the first high-rise compatible ìpassive houseî faÁade. The inner space of the double skin is ventilated by means of a drier-unit type AHC (Active Humidity Control), developed by GIG in order to avoid any condensation.
The RETROFlex louvres are permanently protected against soiling. The inner faÁade can be opened for maintenance purposes by removing the insulating glass pane.
